Vine: Montepulciano
Production Area: province of Chieti hills

Vinification: after a long maceration of the skins at controlled temperature, the wine decants in stainless steel tanks, to pass later, after malolactic fermentation, to aging in oak barriques and  tonneaux for 12-18 months.

Ageing: in stainless steel tanks

Organoleptic qualities:
Sight – deep ruby red, with garnet reflections.
Smell - intense and complex with hints of ripe cherry, with spicy notes.
Taste – Rich and full, remarkably soft, with a pleasant lingering aftertaste.

Alcohol: 14 % vol.

Serving Suggestions: red meat, game and mature cheeses. It is a Red to which we pay particular attention. With a manual vinification in small quantities, only in harvests that guarantee the quality we desire and aging vocation: each harvest has its own peculiarities. Doesn’t suffer a forced filtration, so it can present a natural deposit.
