The sea of the Trabocchi Coast and the overlying hills create the right frame for the landscape surrounding the San Giacomo Winery. This favourable environment together with the excellent exposure of our vineyards and the influence of the nearby sea contribute to the quality of our wines.

From this territorial distinctness hail the aromatic fragrances of the full-bodied red wines and the delicate notes of the white ones. These are the foundations on which stand the Winery. So that year after year, at each new harvest, a combined effort of the agronomist, the vintner and the winemaker aim at getting better and better products, while optimizing production technologies and respecting the tradition.

The vineyards of Cantina San Giacomo are spread around Rocca San Giovanni and the surrounding villages. The grapes grown here are an expression of the territorial identity, with the king of the red grapes being the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, the most representative of the region. The white varieties on the other hand are many: Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Cococciola, Chardonnay and Moscato.

A few years ago the winery started the conversion process to organic farming and organic wine making, on selected vineyards. Following this same ecologic vocation, as part of the latest investments, a photovoltaic system has been installed producing clean solar energy.

We are in the Guida Vini d'Italia 2019 with FIVE "due bicchieri" bottles. Thanks to Gambero Rosso !
